Tom Hankins

Tom Hankins, CCP, has been in medicine for 49 years. He is a Board Certified Cardiovascular Perfusionist certified by the American Board of Cardiovascular Perfusion. He has been a perfusionist for 46 years. He was instrumental in establishing the Autologous Platelet Gel Program at Grant Medical Center in 2000 and the Autologous Stem Cell Program in 2001. Since their inception, they have performed over 14,000 Platelet Gel procedures and over 6,000 stem cell procedures. He is a co-author of 4 published papers on stem cell therapy and either author or co-author on 23 other published articles. All publications have been in professional medical journals. He is also a chapter author in two medical text books. He is also a scientific consultant for Stemlutions, Inc. Besides being published in medical journals, he has given many presentations at national and international perfusion meetings on work I have been involved in relating to stem cell therapy.
